I'm an Operations Research Scientist at Lyric, where I write code to make supply-chain operations faster and more reliable with linear programming and algorithms. I recently finished my Master's in Computer Science at the Chennai Mathematical Institute, graduating with a Medal of Excellence.
Most of my path has run through open source. I was a Google Summer of
Code contributor twice — with Mathesar in '23 and omegaUp in '24 — and
have since mentored for it. In '25 I built on Braidpool through Summer
of Bitcoin, and spent a summer at the National University of Singapore
studying parameterized algorithms and the hardness of the Hamiltonian
Path problem. I'm an Expert on Codeforces, and I love algorithms,
mathematics and heuristics.
I play football, badminton and practice calisthenics, and love
watching Real Madrid matches.
Writing code to improve operations across the supply chain.
Mentored the AI Teaching Assistant project — a go-to bot for student and teacher questions, code reviews, and clarifications, with a faster Python core and an engaging UI.
Braidpool is a blockDAG-based mining protocol that tackles pool centralization — reimagining how miners collaborate without depending on centralized coordinators.
Migrated the Problem Creator to Vue.js + TypeScript so problems can be authored directly inside omegaUp.com instead of an external tool.
Explored the Hamiltonian Path problem and the hardness of its NP-completeness, studying parameterized algorithms and pseudorandomness.
Selected for Amazon's ML Summer School, covering core topics across supervised and unsupervised learning.
Built the “Summarize” action in the Data Explorer — letting users aggregate a column grouped by another, with new functions like mean, median, sum, min and max.
Built the back-end and testing framework (Django REST) for the online examination system of NAEST, an initiative by Prof. H. C. Verma.
Built Azure Data Factory notebooks and pipelines for a data-analytics project using Pandas, NumPy and PySpark.
Add More Summarization Functions — Mathesar Google Summer of Code '23: added aggregation functions (mean, median, sum, min, max) to Mathesar's data summarization.
Migrate Problem Creator to Vue.js + TypeScript — omegaUp Google Summer of Code '24: rebuilt omegaUp's Problem Creator in Vue.js + TypeScript so problems can be authored directly in-app.
Committed Mempool — Braidpool Summer of Bitcoin '25: a decentralized mining pool (Braidpool) built on BlockDAG rather than a traditional blockchain, with a committed mempool to accommodate higher-frequency bead submission.
Braille Utils Tools for converting between Braille and text, including image-based Braille via a YOLO model.
EcoMetrics API Query population, temperature and more — returned as tidy tables and graphs.
